Deep Sea Fish Being Over-farmed

Summary: Fish in the deep sea are going extinct. Fish in the deep sea live longer and reach sexual maturity later in age than a human. Therefore they do not reproduce as quickly making them vulnerable to extinction. For example Orange roughy take 30 years to reach sexual maturity and live up to an average of 125 years.

Critique: Fish hatcheries, Deep sea fishers, and whoever else need to lay off the deep sea creatures and fish closer to shore, otherwise we will have fish that no longer exist.

Impact: It impacts the environment in many ways from the ecosystem to food chains and food webs.
