Warming streams could be the end for salmon

Scientist said they could try and protect salmon, but it would impact hydroelectric power generation, The reasoning for this is that the water gets too warm for the adult salmon, causing them to die, therefore the salmon are unable to reproduce. Scientists came up with ideas to help the salmon population. One reccomendation was to store cold water and dump it upstream, helping the fish survive during the hot summer months. Salmon are already under pressure by the effects of pollution, but helping salmon in the heat wave can be done.
Critique: I think that the Scientists should do anything they can to protect salmon, because Salmon is used for a lot of things, and they are important in some ways.
Impact: If salmon become extinct, then a lot of salmon eaters will be sad.
