The Human Heart

Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart

Summary: The human heart is responsible for pumping blood through our blood vessels. The average heart will beat about 72 times a minute. It can weigh from 250 to 300 grams in females and 300 to 350 grams in males. It is basically a tube that pumps fluid (such as fats, sugars, and proteins) that contains water and nutrients.

Critique: I think that the heart is probably the most important organ keeping us alive.

Impact: the impact it has on humans is a very good one because it helps us survive.
