Can you drink heavy water?

Can you drink heavy water?

Summary- Can you drink heavy water? It may sound like normal water but it actually is different. Heavy water is like H20 but it is quit different. Heavy water is instead of H20 its Deuterium oxide. It is not drinkable. Heavy water is made out of deuterium instead of hydrogen. Its elemental structure is stronger than normal water. You can drink it but if you drink enough heavy water you will die because it contains a different molecular structure. You’re probably thinking that if we could switch our water in our body with deuterium oxide it would make us slightly stronger but in this case no. It will not change your strength in any significant way. If you were to add heavy water to normal water then you will simply dilutee it.

Critique- I think that it was interesting that there is different types of water then just plain H20. We can drink it but not a whole lot or we will die which is interesting that if you change a few things in H20 you will get deuterium oxide.

Impact- This Heavy water (deuterium oxide) can be used in nuclear technology and it can also make alcohol not make you lose brain cells so much (dilutes it).
