Contaminated Canteloupe

Summary: In several states stores are discontinuing cantaloupe. Lately more then two dozens of people have been diagnosed with "Listeria monocytogenes" a fatal disease most commonly found in food. This disease has been reported in Colorado, Indiana, Texas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Montana, and Oklahoma while four people have died.

Critique: This is not the stores fault nor the consumers fault but the Food and Drug Administrations fault for not catching on right away.

Impact: The Food and Drug Administration need to start checking produce items to make sure they are fit and proper for consumption.
