Newborn Dinosaur

Scientists have discovered a baby dinosaur fossil. It is the youngest ever discovered, and is said to have lived 110 million years ago.The fossil was discovered in 1997 by Ray Stanford in Maryland. It is the first baby of any dinosaur species ever found in the eastern United States. The body of the fossil was only 13 centimeters long, Adult bodies of the same species are 20 to 30 feet long. Stanford believed the fossil was a hatchling, rather than an embryo, because it was able to walk on it's own. Critique: The article said the guy was digging in his backyard and he found the fossil, it would be cool to walk into my backyard and find a new fossil that will contribute to the history of the earth. More fossils we find the more we are learning about the history of Earth.
Impact: The impact of finding this fossil is to find out more about the dinosaurs living before our time.
