Dinosaur Feathers in Amber Found

Summary: In September, 2011, a piece of amber was found containing feathers from a dinosaur. This had the scientists interested, because most dinosaurs were said to be scaly. The avian variety was actually classified as having scales as well. The colors are said to be black, brown, and a reddish-brown, because of a type of metal found in the amber.
Impact: This can be either a good thing or a bad thing for the world. Different science fiction books – such as Jurassic Park – have been written on dinosaurs that came back. I believe it is entirely possible, but scientists are too cautious nowadays, and they should be. Despite the declarations that would ensue from this experimentation, like “they can’t possibly escape” and “everything is under control” they escaped. And they wrecked chaos on the world. Bummer. It might be cool if we could rely on the Plexiglas to hold the dinosaur in and not run amok and breed like a fly.
Critique: Jurassic Park is a classic example of what we don’t want to happen. This is a great find, because more research can be made on dinosaurs from this one fossil, but if scientists get greedy and want money, Jurassic Park will no longer be science fiction.
