Affects of the Past
Radio activity is a big issue in today’s society. From when we first discovered the harmful affects of radiology and nuclear weapons, we have learned that radioactivity affects our biology just has much has it affects the planet. Birth defects, cancer, and death are just some of the outcomes of radiology.
When a person is exposed to radiology our bodies react has if we have been microwaved. Our DNA gets all mixed up and our cells mutate giving us cancer and unborn children are born with birth defects because of the radiation preventing the baby from growing properly. Radiation can stick around for many years and can hide in our DNA undetected for quite sometime.
Some places have adapted to radiology such has the islands that were hit fifty years ago, even today its unsafe to live on those islands because of such high radioactivity. However the plants there are just fine living with radiology. Radiology is used in many medicines and modern technology have radiology in them such has chemo therapy to get rid of cancer and cell phones use radiology in them to.
