Humans Are Wired to Respond to Animals

Reference:

Summary:
Researchers from the California Institute of Technology reported that humans have a tendency to stop by and pet every furry animal they see on the street, while others jump at the sight of a shark or a snake on the television. Researchers say that neurons throughout the Amygdala (a center in the brain known for processing emotional reactions.)

Critique:
I feel that researchers should tell more of the public of this new found emotion that we all know is true. Knowing more about the brain and what is inside of us would interest many people.

Impact:
The impact would be that more people would actually notice what is going on in their brain when they stop and pet a furry animal.
