Poor Sleep Habits Linked to Increased Risk of Fibromyalgia in Women

Summary: An estimated 5 million people over the age of 18 suffer from fibromyalgia in the United States. 90 percent of those people are women. Studies at the HUNT facility have shown that woman with sleeping problems have a higher risk of developing fibromyalgia at an adult age.



Critique: I find the relation to the 2 subjects to be very different. it's crazy to think that how you sleep can effect your overall health in such a dramatic way. This just continues to expand my knowledge about the human body furthermore.



Impact: This article may impact the individuals out there that are feeling muscle pain and are having a hard time sleeping. This opens door to discover other links to the disease as well.
