Smiling Through the Tears: Study Shows How Tearjerkers Make People Happier

Summery:
Most people think that watching a sad movie would only make a person feel sad, but researchers who have studied the behavior of a human thought differently. These researchers believe that when a person is to watch a tragic movie they are caused to think about there own lives, and about there own relationships. It causes a person to think about the happy aspects in there own life not the bad ones.

Impact:
I don't necessarily think that there is any scientific impact on this theory, because it determines on the person watching the movie. Some people could think nothing of a sad movie, and others could really get upset about sad movies.

Critique:
I think that this article was mostly a study on the human body, but has no effect or impact on the world.
