Brain Size May Determine Whether You Are Good at Keeping Friends

Reference:

Summary:
Researchers are suggesting that there is a link between the number of friends you have and the size of the region of the brain, known as the orbital prefrontal cortex that is found just above the eyes. A new study shows that this brain region is bigger in people who have a larger number of friendships.

Critique:
So people who aren't social won't have as big of brains as people who talk a lot? would that be another factor that could be looked into.

Impact:
People with less friends will have smaller brains than people with more friends.

  1. This topic that Samantha 16 wrote, Brain size May determine whether you are good at keeping friends, was very interesting to read. Not only was it interesting, but it was also hard to believe. I would have never thought that the reason people may have more friends over another person was because they had a bigger orbital prefrontal cortex. Overall I thought Samantha 16 did a great job.
