Summary: Researchers at Harvard have recently connected dying at a young age from heart disease, cancer, and etc. may be linked with red meat consumption. They say you should eat grains, fish, nuts, or other protein sources instead sometimes. They tracked the diets of about 121,000 middle aged people for 28 years. 20% died during the experiment. An additional serving of red meat per day gave them a 13% higher chance of dying during the study. And with processed red meat products it rose to 20%.

Critique: This really hit home for me because my family eats a lot of red meat. Especially mydad, who has type 2 diabetes.

Impact: Maybe my family and ones like it will start eating healthier, more wholesome foods.
