Losing Control Over Sugar

Summary: Sugar goes well inside your body with a substance called insulin. There is a type of hormone that insulin regulates the activity of cells and tissues. It helps your body pull out a type of sugar called glucose from the bloodstream from the food that you eat. When a body doesn't have enough insulin it causes a disease called diabetes. That is when sugar accumulated in the blood instead of getting into and feeding the cells. The pancreas is the organ in which insulin is produced. The more glucose that tickles that pancreas, it will process the sugar. Recent studies have shown that other things can cause the pancreas to release insulin. Fructose boosted insulin levels and also bisphenol.

Critique: I liked this article. It was short and to the point and still filled with enough information.

Impact: This is something that everyone needs to be aware about. Diabetes can be a very serious disease and must be treated right. It is important that we all know how to take care of our bodies the best way possible.
