Kids Flex Cultural Muscles

Summary: Preschool kids are looking for a reward to display social skills that could turn human cultures into innovation. 3 to 4 year olds are completing tasks which help three key social strategies. First, children that solved a task taught their peers who couldn’t solve it. Second, kids would copy what others are doing. Finally, children who solved the tasks shared stickers they received as rewards with the kids who hadn’t earned them yet. These behaviors enable human cultures to make advanced in knowledge and technology.
Impact: This is has no impact on me personally. However, it does change the way that our cultural will be.
Critique: I didn’t think that this article was that interesting, except the fact that kids are being taught and society is improving because how preschoolers are learning.
