Summary- The study uses a new method to determine the extent of anoxia and preference of sulfide in the world oceans. Geochemical analyses traced the element molybdenum, in a 750 million old rocks from the Grand Canyon suggest that the oceans contained an enormous amount of lethal sulfide. Now in the oceans it is nearly fully oxygenated and sulfide is the only present restricted areas of the ocean. Expansive anoxia and poisonous oceans are now what the disappearance in the animals.

Critique- Is it really that bad for the animals out in the ocean? I don’t like the idea of animals disappearing just because of the poisonous in the oceans.

Impact- This will affect the animals in their natural habitat. It is killing more animals which is not good. This poison isn’t good any way but with it in the ocean it isn’t good.
