Penguins

Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penguin

Summary: They are part of the aquatic and flightless birds group. They live mostly in the southern hemisphere, usually in Antarctica. They usually feed on krill, fish, and squid. They spend about half their life on land and half in ocean. The largest living specie is Emperor Penguin. Adults average 1.1 meters tall and weigh 35 kg or more. The smallest species of penguins is the Little Blue Penguin who is 40 cm tall and weighs 1 kg. Not all penguins live that far south of the equator. There is one species that lives close to the equator.

Critique: I think penguins are really cool animals. They have wings, but can’t fly, mostly have white bellies and black heads and wings, which is really interesting.

Impact: The impact they have on the Earth is a positive one because with out it, our food chain would be very different.
