Contaminated Canteloupe: Part Two

Summary: Last month, only 4 people had died and few people had cases of Listeria, a deadly virus. Now there are 25 people dead in 26 different states. Now, 123 cases have been reported of people having Listeria. Although all these people are dying, The House Energy and Commerce Committee have found the cause of the problem and that cause is from a cantaloupe farm in Colorado called "Jensen Farms." In the end of last month Jensen Farms recalled their cantaloupes in order to stop the contaminated cantaloupe case. Still it is going on, but the Food and Drug Administration found that 13 out of 39 cantaloupes tested have Listeria in them.

Impact: People are losing their lives because of a farm that needs to be taken care of.

Critique: I hope my family and I stay healthy because this has also been found in other vegetables such as lettuce and my family eats a lot of lettuce.
