Scientists at the University of Leeds and the University of Porto in Portugal suggest that the first modern humans migrated to Ariabia from Africa. Using genetic analysis, scientists predict that modern humans migrated over the red sea over 60 thousand years ago. The team analysed three of the earliest non-African maternal lineages using mitochondrial DNA analysis. This traced the female line of decent. They compared genomes from Arabia to that of Europe. They found evidence tracing back to Arabia.

This discovery is very interesting, it was cool to learn where the first humans setteled.
