Summary: Three new wildlife sanctuaries have been declared by the Bangladesh Government. These were declared so that the endangered fresh-water dolphins can live there. These sections were officially declared January 29, 2012 to protect the last two freshwater species of dolphins. The species are The Ganges River Dolphin and the Irrawaddy Dolphin.
Impact: People probably don't care, but it's good they did this because if they went extinct, a food web or chain could have gotten screwed up.
Critique: I think this is great. We can at least keep some type of freshwater dolphin and even maybe get them to repopulate over the years.
