Summary- The Asian food disributor Korean Farm voluntarily recalled certain Assi brand frozen oysters from Korea after the Food and Drug Administration said that they were linked to a norovirus outbreak that sickened three people in the states of Washington. Apparently the oysters were served at an unidentified Washington state restaraunt and were eaten by three people that became sick. Those three people then tested positive for norovirus.
Critique- Hopefully those three people won't spread what ever the norovirus is. I wonder why the distributors willing recalled their own product. I wonder if they knew that something was bad in them, or that they packaged them with some kind of bad thing in them.
Impact- Well I the people that eat frozen oysters will have to refrain for now. If that companies product is recalled they will make a lot less profit, and their sales will go down. Hopefully nobody else decides to but their brand till it's safe again. Maybe the stores that sell their product will take it off the shelf for now.
