Mimicking the Brain

Summary: Scientists have actually figured out a way to create technology that has the same capability as the human brain. They have not actually came out with the computer chip yet but they have the blueprints for it. The MIT scientists at Harvard are designing a small computer chip that is able to learn and memorize information. While they are still perfecting this piece of technology these researchers are convinced this is can perfect simulation of a human brain. Only time will tell.

Critique: In my opinion, this is absolutely ridiculous. Do we really need this piece of technology? We have our own brains don't we? I don't there is a need for something like this just for the sake of having it. Don't get me wrong, I think it is extremely creative, but I don't think it needs to get this far that we can use this instead of out own brain.

Impact: This is a huge milestone in technology. I mean, if this is successful, we don't even have to use our own brain to do schoolwork, our computer can do it for us. This is just another thing that Americans have invented that might make us more lazy. Do we really need it?
