world's lightest material (99.9 percent air)

Reference- http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/11/111117154643.htm

Summary- this new material is made of "micro-lattice" cellular architecture. It's 99.99 percent air. It's 1,000 times thinner than the human hair.
Critique- I don't know if it will be used for anything special, but it's cool that they made something 1,000 times thinner than the human hair. I don't even know how that's possible. The human hair is so tiny anyways. I like how it can sit atop a dandelion and the dandelion isn't even swaying.
Impact- I don't really know if there's any impact on making this extremely small lightweight material. Maybe sometime in the future it will be used for phones or computers and it will make the phones and computers really lightweight.
