Breakthrough in Skin Cancer

Summary- a breakthrough in understanding how to stop a common form of skin cancer, and could make many treatments and preventative methods in the future. Scientists have discovered a gene that helps protect the body from a cell cancer.

Critique- I think this is awesome. My mom had skin cancer and if other people can prevent it in the future then that would be great. Any cancer is terrible and this is amazing that there is now a cure and/or preventative to skin cancer. Maybe it's just one step in curing all cancers.

Impact- This is a huge impact on all people of the world. Skin cancer can affect anyone, and if we now have a treatment and preventative, we won't have to worry about skin cancer.
