Summary- New study suggests that taking a daily dose of ginger may be able to reduce colon inflamation, and in the long run may help ruduce the rosk of getting colorectal cancer. The study is still in the proccess of being researched. But when researchers did the study the first time they used 30 individuals. The results showed that the individuals that took a ginger supplement had a 28% decrease in one measure of colorectal inflamation.
Critique- I don't know if I can believe that taking a ginger supplement daily will reduce the risk of colorectal cancer, and colon inflamation. It just seems like a such a simple solution of it works. But i guess that's the best part of it because then people will be able to buy it at normal health or grocery store. Could ginger supplements and ginger help the people that already have colorectal cancer?
Impact- Well if this does work then all the companies that sell ginger, and ginger supplements will have a lot more sales. But I'm pretty sure that there are some people that will start eating and taking ginger even if the study turns out to be a 50/50 type thing. It may work for you but it may not, that's what I mean by 50/50
