Scientists Create hybrid Grapefruit Safe for Heart Patients

Summary- The Scientists at the University of Florida have finally created a grapefruit that still has that citrus taste, but without the furanocuroumarin compund that can be unsafe for patients taking blood pressure and heart medication. This graprefruit is also seedless.
Critique- I think that this is definately a remarkable creation. Now people that love grapefruit but couldn't, can now. Maybe they will be able to do the same with the other fruits that have the furanocuroumarin compound in them.
Impact- The fruit company that decides to put this fruit on the shelves may bring in a lot of revenue. I wonder how many people on medication would actually try this fruit. They may think that it will still be the same as the original grapefruit and not eat the newly created one at all. So really this could go both ways. Either way you look at this your going to have people that hate it, people that love it, and people that are completly against it. Just like with everything else in the world.
