Why Mondays Suck

Reference: cnn.com

Summary: A lot of the reasons mondays are horrible for people is because of the stress they experience. Sometimes it even leaks into our weekends and we become cranky. There are a couple reasons for this. One is our ability to "catch" other people's emotions. When negativity or stress is all around you tend to feel that way too. Another factor at play is that our bosses, teachers, parents, tend to pass on knowledge in negativity.

Critique: Man I can relate. I totally hate Mondays, and I usually get headaches by the end of the day.

Impact: People like me can get rid of their stress and monday headaches. :)

  1. Finally, this is "proven" by science so our teachers and parents can understand us!!!! :) I completely agree with the idea that your surrounding emotions are contagious. This is because if the people around you are stressed out and act negatively because of their stress, then the natural instinct is to do the same as them.

So basically, to get rid of this problem of sucky Mondays, people should engage with other people that have positive emotions. This will boost their happiness and prepare them for the rest of the day. :)

  2. Bethany Nordgren you have done a wonderful job. Mondays are really what you make it. I agree with what hannah. It is really the idea of people always saying that Mondays suck. There are many ways to help you out on Mondays. You can communicate with other people and have funny and interesting conversations. Your Mondays will be way better. People with stress just think that Mondays are really boring, what I said can change all of that.

  3. Adding to the comment above, even thought this is the same person. I try to make it better than it is. Change it up, do what you do any other days that are fun, but just do it on Monday.
