Johnson and Johnson Recalls Infant's Liquid Tylenol Due To Dosing Flaw

Reference- www.myfoxphoenix.com

Summary- Johnson and Johnson voluntarily recalled aproximately 574,000 bottles of grape-flavored tylenol (liquid) for infants due to complaints about the dosing syringe. The one-ounce bottles were distributed in the United States. This along with some other complications were significant enough to hurt the company's reputation and harm financial results.

Critique- This is really interesting, because usually big companies like johnson and johnson don't make these mistakes. But, since they did, I think it was good that they voluntarily recalled the medicine, otherwise they could have been in more trouble than they already are. Because if they didn't and some parent over-dosed their kid because of a defective product, then they may have a bigger weight on their shoulders.

Impact- It ruined the company's good name, and made the product users very upset with the company. The company also has a finnacial problem because of their bad product.
