Even though we humans have managed to overcome certain sickness, Apes have gotten these and just these sickness alone have managed to wipe out 1/3 of the African Ape population. This is on top of the already decreasing population. Vets and animals specialist are deciding wither or not they should vaccinated the apes because of their close DNA. Animal specialist say that by vaccinating the apes it could effect their already low population by killing them and they are one of the slowest animals to reproduce so a repopulation would take a long time.
Impact: I think that they should go ahead and vaccinate the apes because since they are already dying from our sickness we should do what ever we can to help them. We have already taken a lot from them its only fair and humane.
