Baaad Call: Young Goats Pick up Accents

http://www.livescience.com/18505-young-goats-accents-vocal-learning.html

Young Goats are developing their accents. Goats have groups, like lions have prides, and fish have schools. A group of goats on a farm will all have a specific baa within their group. Goats in the wild will also have these accents in their baa to determine which goats belong to their group and which do not. Baby goats will start learning these accents at one week and usually have them down at five weeks. these baa's or contact calls help the group stay in touch and together.

This will effect the world by showing how smart animals are. baby goats are baaing with an accent at 5 weeks, while baby humans can even hold up their head. This will defiantly give goats a new respect as they are usually tagged as a dumb animal.

I thought this article was really cool. I'm allergic to goats and didn't really care for them that much. My opinion about them has changed. they aren't just dumb animals who eat everything, there smart and have a language all their own.
