What is a ION?

What is an ION?

Summary- It is an atom that basically has more electrons than it dose protons. Giving the atom a net of positive or a negative charge. The name was originated from a physicist named Michael Faraday. An ION that contains a single atom is an atomic or a monatomic ION. If it contains two or more atoms it is a molecular or a polyatomic ION. This goes with my other blog sort of.

Critique- I thought it is cool how ions can be changed just by taking away a atom or adding one.

Impact- Now you know what a ION is.
