Summary: A study done by Clemson University reveals that people with high blood pressure might not be able to recognize emotions as easily as people with normal blood pressure. This study shows that people with high blood pressure have “emotional dampening”. This means that they do not realize emotion. So when their boss is angry at them they might think that he or she is just kidding.
Critique: I think people with emotional dampening probably get themselves in trouble a lot. Like when someone is screaming at them and they begin to laugh because they do not understand.
Impact: This does have an impact on us in a way. If we interact with people with emotional dampening and do not understand that they have emotional dampening it may become more frustrating for us.
