Summary- An American science writer has just published a book that states, whether we admit it our not, parental favoritism is hard wired into the human pshyche. He says that 95% of the parents have a favorite child, & the other 5% are lying. A California study shows that 65% of mothers and 70% of fathers showed a particular liking to one certain child.

Impact- this doesn't really have an impact on me, but I always wondered if parents had a favorite child.
Critique- I always wondered if a family of 10 if the parents had a favorite child, because it seems to me sometimes parents always treat that one kid to nice things and the other not so much. But it's kind of interesting.
