Meteorite Shockwaves Trigger Dust Avalanches On Mars

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/12/111216115022.htm

Summary: dust avalanches around impact craters on mars appear to be the result of the shock wave preceding the actual impact. A meteorite careens toward the dusty surface of the red planet, it kicks up dust and can cause avalanching.

Critique: did know that mars can have avalanching on the dust surface red plant.

Impact: can possibly destroy a plant and maybe others.
