Noisy Toys

Reference: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/12/111216174444.htm

Summary: Researches have been looked into 2 dozen toys for toddlers, picked the top 10, and have found something destructive. Out of the 10 toys, the majority of them reached 90 decibels and many reached 100 or more. This is equivalent to the noise of a chainsaw, train, or power mower. According to the American Academy of Otolaryngology, 85 decibels can greatly impair hearing. These toys can be very effective to the little kids.

Critique: This article definitely makes me think twice about the toy that i would by for one of my siblings or friends. If these harm hearing, i would just be hurting them in the long run. Its not worth a fun toy for the loss of your hearing.

Impact: This article should impact many peoples viewpoint on what they buy their family or friends. Next time they try buying a toy that can be dangerous to s child's hearing, it doesn't matter if it's on clearance, it's not worth it!
