Summary
This study done by doctor McCarry suggests that you only need 15 minutes of exercise a day. Whether this is walking, running, or even doing jumping jacks. As long as it is something that gets your heart pumping it is good. For this study they went to a wide range of people and ask them how long they exercised a day. They then broke them down into categories and the one with the most health benefit was the ones that only did 15 minutes a day. It’s not only how much time you spend exercising but also what you eat. The bottom line is that you actually don’t need 30 minutes a day but 15 minutes is an optimal amount.

Critique
I think this study is actually really amazing and worth the time. Many people say that they don’t have enough time in a day to exercise but in the time it takes me to write this report I could have gotten a good days exercise. Everybody thinks to be able to be healthy they have to go to the gym for an hour a day. Not everybody has an hour to spend exercising but everyone has fifteen minutes. Another benefit to this is that you do not have to do straight suicides for fifteen but walking or jumping jacks are good enough. Everyone wants to be healthy but not everyone has the time this is a study worthwhile.

Impact
I believe this helps our world a lot everyday people die from health related reasons this is a way to end that. Everyone can do fifteen minutes and everyone can walk so why not? Finding this information out is really helpful to the people today. I think everybody can do this and with this information a lot more people can be healthier. So using this information we can walk or bike to school and be able to get in our daily exercise. Now if only someone could figure out a way to get all our homework done in fifteen minutes.
