pumpkins

Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pumpkins

Summary: Pumpkins a type of fruit, they have an orangey/yellow shell, creased from the stem to the bottom, containing the seeds and pulp. They are grown all around the world, but the biggest international producers are in the United States, Mexico, China, and India. They usually weigh about 9-18 pounds but can get as big as over 75. They can have both female and male flowers on the same plant.

Critique: Pumpkins are very delicious when you make them into pumpkin pie.

Impact: The impact on pumpkins, I think, is not a very big one. If pumpkins were to never be grown again I think we would be fine.
