Animal Dissection

Animal Dissection
Animal dissection is now becoming a problem for schools because more
and more students are saying no to the dissection. There are many alternatives to
dissection, there are websites that offer “on-line” dissection. Online dissection is a
good way for students, who are against animal cruelty to learn what they need to
learn about the animal. Teachers also benefit by this because they get to do their
job with out the fuss. Another alternative is rubber replicas of the animals. Rubber
replicas are a good “Hands-on” way to teach the student and can be reused and
reused again, compared to a real animal that you can only use once. It saves
money that can be used elsewhere and keeps students and parents happy.
There are many reasons why animal dissection is wrong. Taking animals
from their habitat and then killing them is a waste of life and it hurts the
environment. Eliminating species hurts their habitat because it allows other
species to take over, when otherwise they would not be able to do, due to the
competition. No competition means that the species taking over would over
populate killing all other species and in return dying out themselves. Allowing this
to happen would wipe out millions of habitats that the world needs to survive.
Animal dissection not only hurts the students education, but also hurts the
environment.
