Most of the males have a larger home range. Study of most leopards home range size is mostly in protected areas. Only 13 percent of leopards range have actually fallen within a protected area.
Leopards hunting have a very broad diet. They feed on greater prey such as reptiles and amphibians. They will eat on anything such as beetles. They will kill more prey between sunrise and sunset.
Most leopards are light colored with dark spots that are called rosettes because they look like a rose. Black leopards appear in almost solid color because there spots are hard to distinguish.
