Robotic Leg Invention @ Vanderbilt University

A robotic leg has been built at Vanderbilt University, it allows a person to do normal activities when they have lost their leg, it uses the latest technology, computer sensors, electric motor, and batery technology. It senses the persons motion. It is designed for the person's daily life, it makes it noticeably easier to sit, stand walk, and go up and down stairs. The new technology weighs around nine pounds, which is lighter than a human leg. It can work with three days of normal activity without recharge. Another good part of this invention is if the person starts to fall, the leg senses it and will lift up and plant itself on the ground. It also said that this newer version is less noisy than others, but still noisier than wanted.
This is a great invention because if a person has lost their leg it makes it a lot easier to go on with their daily life.
