Summary: A recent study has shown that kids with diabetes vs. kids without diabetes are more likely to drop out of school. It also has shown they could lose alot of money in the future due to this decision and that is estimated to be $160,000 a lifetime. There was no distinguished between type 1 and 2 in this study.
Critique: I don't understand why more people with diabetes drop out. The article wasn't very clear on that.
Impact: Maybe we'll actually eat good in fear of losing money. :P
