Summary: A spectacular display of auroras lit up the far northern skies on January 24th, in a supercharge light show captured on camera by sky watchers around the world. Some of the views from Sweden even said they felt like a kid on Christmas. The northern lights show was sparked by intense solar flare tat erupted from the sun late night on January 22nd. The flare unleashed a wave of charged particles, triggering the strongest solar radiation storm since 2005, one of the NASA scientist said.
