Summary-On Wednesday Coca-Cola announced that it had found an unapproved fungicide in the orange juice made by coke and its competitors, and then notified the federal regulators that some Brizillian growers had sprayed the trees with the substance. The beverage giant, makes both Minute Maid and Simply Orange, would not reveal which brands contain this fungicide. But, both contain juice from Brazil.
Critique- I didn't know that Coca-Cola had other brand names for juice and other things besides their pop (or as you people say here "soda"). But, since a lot of people buy orange juice, they may be getting people sick, if that is an affect of the fungicide. Although I wonder how dangerous this substance really is....
Impact- This impacts the company, and their sales if they decide to take it off of the shelves. Also if this substance can affect people negatively, such as causing them to become sick or ill. In that then they could be in even bigger trouble for not taking off of the shelves in the stores that carry their products.
