Study: Men with STDs Give Off Bad Smell

Summary- According to a new study froom the Institute of Cytology and Genetics in Novosibirsk, Russia, men with STDs actually smell worse than their non-infected peers. Women that participated in this study found that men with gonorrhea had a "putrid" odor. Thirty-four men between the ages of 17 and 25 took part in this study. Out of these 34 men, 16 were healthy,13 had gonorrhea, and five had recently gotten rid of their gonorrhea infection with medical treatment. The men had to wear tight-fitting t-shirts with special sweat-absorbing pads that were sewn under there arms for an hour, then 18 women between the ages of 17 and 20 were asked to sniff and analyze each sweat pad.

Critique- First of all, what woman in their right mind would voluntarily go around and sniff sweat pads that were under a mans arm pit for an hour. That alone is disgusting, the other thing is that men with STDs smell worse than people without them. That is also Disgusting.

Impact- Well I guess guys with STDs might have to either shower more often, use more deordorant, or seek medical treatment so that people don't assume they have an STD if they smell bad. So I guess this mostly would and will affect people with STDs and the noses of people every where.
