sleep & old people; new interesting find

Summary- As for young people, sleeping helps their memory, but as for older people, sleep does not increase memory at all. Sleep has been known to increase the ability to recall things and also improve physical skills. But that may only be available to the younger generation. In a recent study, a good night's sleep improved young people's ability to learn the piano. Adults over 50 didn't get any increase in performance after a same night's sleep a young person got. Scientists thought it was because old people have slow reaction times. But with this new study, memory benefits are reduced with age.
Impact- Now we all know why old people forget things a lot. This has an impact I suppose on the older generation.
Critique- I didn't even know that sleep had anything to do with memory. I thought reading this article was cool, but it's sad that old people forget.
