‘Sensitive Santa’ Meets Kids With Autism

Reference: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2011/12/05/sensitive-santa-meets-kids-with-autism/

Summary: The North Town Mall closes its doors, lowers the sound, and provides a calming environment for autistic children to meet Santa. This mall provides a wonderful atmosphere for autistic kids to meet Santa which without North Town mall could not be accomplished.

Critique: I think this is really amazing this mall provides children and families with memories that would have been hard to create in a normal functioning mall with autistic children.

Impact: I think this really shows that we are improving how we interact with autistic children and how America is giving them chances to do what they might not have been able to do without help.
