Summary: This article is about how kids in school should get 10-12 hours of sleep every night. It also suggests kids shouldn't have electronics in their rooms because the light can wake them up. It talks about soda and that after lunchtime it should not be allowed to avoid insomnia. 2-3 hours before bedtime should not have strenuous exercize.
Critique: It's a good thought, but most families have a lot of activities and don't really have time to maintain everything the article suggests. Lets face it, Parents aren't miracle workers. They have things to do too, and their life cannot be focused around the fact it's recommend for their child to get at least 10 hours of sleep. Not to mention that these parents need to help their kids do homework.
Impact: Honestly, I don't think this will do much. People need more sleep, yes, but life doesn't wait for you to put your kid to bed at 8. It may work for some people, but a lot of people are very busy.
