Swimming with Dolphins Deplete Depression
Swimming with dolphins is an effective treatment for mild to moderate depression. In two weeks people in the experimental group swam and snorkelled in the water with dolphins once a day. People in the other group were assigned to the same water activities, but without dolphins.Three months after, the people who swam with dolphins also reported lasting improvement, This suggests that in patients with mild or moderate depression, using drugs may not be necessary when spending time with animals, like dolphins, they concluded.
Critique: I agree because my mom swam with dolphins and she says she is less depressed after swimming with them, so now I wanna swim with dolphins too. Haha
Impact: For people who spend hundreds of dollars in pills to stop depression, they can just go swim with dolphins.
