Summary: Fall is a great time for farmers; it is when lots of fruit and vegetables come out. Some of these are squash, apples, pears, cabbage, pumpkins, brussel sprouts, and broccoli. The colors of fall like red, green, orange, and yellow help people reconnect with nature. These different fruits are very good for our bodies because they are very nutritious. Squash and pumpkins have carotenoids. Carotenoids have anti-oxidants, which help reduce inflammation. An apple is also a very good fruit to eat. Apples carry vitamin C, fiber, and quercitin. The best way to get all of the nutrients out of these delicious fruits is to not add sugar and butter. This is one of the many ways to enjoy fall season.
Critique: Apples and the other fall fruits are really good for our bodies. I love eating apples but have never really tried any of the other fruits that are in the fall season. I love pumpkin pie, but have never eaten pumpkin in any other form. Not so sure I’d like it.
Impact: This world has amazing fruits. We work so hard to grow these different fruits we should really take time to enjoy them. Lots of people like to eat their fruits with different sugars and spices I think we should eat these fruits the way they are because it is healthier that way. Maybe the next time I go for a sugar snack, I will think about grabbing a piece of fruit instead.
