Summary: This week, the world reaches 7 billion people. But the fact there are more people living than have ever lived apparently is not going to be a problem according to this article. Smaller families are becoming the new "norm". The average number of kids women have nowadays is 2.5. The article says that the world will probably reach 9 billion people by mid century, but then population rates will start falling again.
Critique: Seems accurate, except for the average number of kids. I mean, 2.5? Is that even possible? Is the kid missing half his body or something hahaha?!
Impact: The world is growing. We need to make sure we have enough food for everyone.
